Sinclair Ups Tom Long To Boise GM

Sinclair Broadcast Group has promoted Tom Long to general manager of KBOI (CBS) and KYUU-LP (CW) in Boise, Idaho (DMA 104).

Steve Marks, EVP-COO of Sinclair’s television group, said: “Tom has been with Sinclair for nearly four years, and he brings 20 plus years of successful sales leadership with him. He has been a great leader for our sales teams in Lincoln and we are confident that he will make an excellent general manager for our Boise stations.”

Since 2014, Long has been the general sales manager of KHGI (ABC), KFXL (Fox) and KWNB (ABC) in Lincoln, Neb. He has worked in sales at various television stations in Las Vegas; Yakima, Wash.; Fresno, Calif.; Cincinnati; and Fort Wayne, Ind., since 1997.
