Star Jones Talker Debut Moved To Fall 2015

E.W. Scripps/Debmar-Mercury says they are shooting to roll out the syndicated legal show nationally next year.

The Star Jones-hosted legal talk show that station group E. W. Scripps is developing in partnership with Debmar-Mercury has been pushed back to fall 2015 from a hoped-for 2014 debut in broadcast syndication.

“We still believe in the concept and plan to continue our efforts for a national launch in the fall of 2015,” says Bob Sullivan, VP of programming at E. W. Scripps.

Star Jones is an attorney who is a frequent guest on ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today. She is best known for co-hosting ABC’s The View from 1997 to 2006. In 1994, she hosted the syndicated show Jones & Jury. In the early 1990s, she was as a legal consultant on Court TV.
