Stephen Arnold Music Reteams With Golf Channel

Stephen Arnold Music, which has produced music for Golf Channel for more than a decade, has composed an upbeat sonic brand for the new season of the cable network’s instructional series Playing Lessons.

“We have a longstanding history with the Golf Channel, and are always excited to work with their great creative team on new music branding projects,” says Stephen Arnold, president of the music production company.

Playing Lessons, hosted by Brandel Chamblee, features some of the world’s top touring professionals talking through a round of golf with celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment. During each episode, the pro discusses strategy, course management, shot selection and a variety of tips, as well as the featured celebrity’s career highlights. New episodes are airing on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

“The team at Stephen Arnold Music is so in tune with what we need, and with what is current in the television landscape,” says David Piccolo, creative director of Golf Channel. “This makes them a perfect fit for us. We never have to over-explain our direction or brand. They also are very good at expanding on our initial direction with multiple creative options.”

The new Playing Lessons music will be used for the show open, teases, and various IDs throughout the show, as well as for promotions.
