Steve Chenevey New WJLA Morning, Noon Anchor
Allbritton Communications’ ABC affiliate WJLA Washington (DMA 8) today hired Steve Chenevey who will become the co-anchor of Good Morning Washington and the ABC7 Noon News beginning next month. Chenevey will be teamed with current WJLA morning and noon anchor Cynne Simpson.
Chenevey has been the morning news anchor on Fox O&O WTTG Washington where he has worked since 2003. He worked for WPXI Pittsburgh before coming to Washington D.C.
Chenevey is a magna cum laude graduate of Clarion University in Pennsylvania.
