Steve Patterson Joins KYW Philadelphia News

The CBS Television Stations duopoly of KYW (CBS) and WPSG (CW) Philadelphia (DMA 4) on Monday added reporter Steve Patterson to its news team beginning today.

Patterson comes to Philadelphia from KSDK St. Louis where he has been a reporter since 2011. He began his journalism career as a reporter for WZZM Grand Rapids, Mich., before being promoted to Holland County bureau chief there. Patterson covered numerous long-form investigative pieces for the station including one story that led to the license removal and arrest of one of the area’s most notorious slumlords.

Patterson is a 2008 graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.  He is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
