Steve Ryan Joining KVOA Anchor Team
NBC affiliate KVOA Tucson, Ariz. (DMA 71), has hired Steve Ryan as anchor of the station’s weekday evening and nighttime newscasts. Ryan joins from KTVK Phoenix where he has been an anchor-reporter since May 2011.
Prior to Phoenix, Ryan was an anchor-reporter at KTNV Las Vegas and held reporter positions at WBBH Fort Myers, Fla.; WALB Albany, Ga.; and WECT Wilmington, N.C.
Ryan’s experience also includes a stint as a writerWeb reporter for CNN Headline News in Atlanta.
He holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Elon College (now Elon University) in Burlington, N.C.
