Sunbeam Ups Paul Magnes To Boston GM

Sunbeam Television today promoted Paul Magnes to vice president and general manager of WHDH (NBC) and WLVI (CW) Boston (DMA 7), effective immediately.

Magnes has been with the company for more than eight years, most recently as director of sales for the two stations.

“We are excited that Paul will be leading the Boston stations as we move forward,” said Chris Wayland, EVP-GM of Sunbeam Television Corp. “He has proven to be a strong manager, overseeing the most successful sales force in the market.”

Magnes said: “I am excited to begin my new role at the station, and look forward to working with the team that brings Boston viewers the news they want to see each and every day.”
