Tania Ortega Promoted To KTBC Weekend Anchor

Tania Ortega has been named weekend anchor of Fox O&O KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 39) morning show Good Day Austin, effective immediately. Good Day Austin airs from 6 to 8 a.m.

Ortega has been with the station since February 2013, serving as a reporter on Good Day Austin for the past four-and-a-half years. Prior to that, she was a reporter and producer for KCEN and before that, reporter, anchor and sales representative at KXXV, both in Waco, Texas.

She began her career in broadcasting as an intern at KNSD San Diego.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Ortega holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
