Telepictures Moves Hilary Estey McLoughlin

In the wake of Warner Bros. hiring Mike Darnell to oversee alternative and unscripted programming, the company’s Telepictures has moved her into a producer role.

Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of Warner Bros.’ production arm Telepictures, has quietly been moved into a new role as a producer with the company, according to several sources.

McLoughlin has been with Telepictures since 1986 and has been instrumental in developing Warner Bros.’ syndicated shows such as Ellen, TMZ and this fall’s new Bethenny Frankel talk show, Bethenny. In the mid 1990s, she was executive producer on The Rosie O’Donnell Show.

McLoughlin’s role changed this week when Warner Bros. announced that former long-time Fox reality television executive Mike Darnell is joining Warner Bros. this summer to oversee alternative and unscripted programming.

With all due respect to Mr. Darnell, Hilary’s are some pretty big shoes to fill….
