Telepictures Promotes Olsen To Finance SVP

The syndicator’s senior production executive will now oversee finance and administration operations, including production financing and accounting as well as human resources.

Jill Olsen has been promoted to senior vice president, finance and administration, Telepictures, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, the company’s president.

Olsen will oversee all aspects of Telepictures’ finance and administration operations, including production financing and accounting as well as human resources. In addition, she will play a major role in managing budgets, forecasts and operational financial reporting for Telepictures. Olsen will report directly to David Decker, EVP, business and legal affairs.

Prior to this promotion, Olsen was senior production executive since 2009. In 2008, Olsen was the co-executive producer of Judge Jeanine Pirro for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy. During her tenure at Telepictures, Olsen had also held the position of director of finance and production management.

Olsen began her career at Telepictures in 1991, when she started as a production accountant and then became an accounting supervisor and director of production, before holding the title of executive in charge of production for Judge Mathis, where she was responsible for all financial, physical production and administrative aspects.

Olsen holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California in communications arts and sciences.
