TNN Diginet Adds WBMM Montgomery, Ala.

The Nashville Network diginet has signed an affiliation agreement with Bahakel Communications ‘ CW affiliate WBMM Montgomery, Ala. (DMA 118). WBMM will begin broadcasting TNN on Oct. 1 over the air on ch. 22.2. Cable carriage information will be forthcoming.

“We’re extremely pleased to add The Nashville Network to our offering of stations here in Montgomery,” said WBMM Jesse Grear, VP-GM. “Our goal is to offer our viewers a variety of programming that can reach every possible audience and extend our news brand.  When severe weather hits or breaking news happens we can go “live” across all five stations to keep our viewers informed and safe, and TNN programming gives us another audience to do this with.”

TNN, originally launched as a cable network featuring country music programming, returned as a broadcast television network in November 2012. Programming comprises syndicated and first-run programming along with digitally restored content. The Nashville Network is a partnership between Jim Owens Entertainment and Luken Communications.
