Tom Canavan To Lead Media Links Inc.

Media Links Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Global Links, providers of broadcast and network transport over IP solutions, have named Tom Canavan president of the American company. He replaces John Dale, who has been promoted into a global product management leadership role

Canavan joins Media Links Inc. with more than 25 years of experience in the media and technology industries. Most recently, he was SVP, strategic development and services for Signiant, a provider of advanced file movement software for secure digital media exchange. Previously, Canavan was EVP, systems and technology services for Ascent Media Group.

He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and an active member of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers and Sports Video Group (SVG).
