Tribune Stations To Serve up ‘Best Bites’

An extension of WGN Chicago’s Chicago’s Best, the syndicated half-hour will look for must-eat dishes across the U.S. beginning this fall.

This fall, Tribune Broadcasting will debut a new national food and travel program, America’s Best Bites, on many of its stations.

Hosts Ted Brunson and Natalie Forte will travel across the U.S. looking for affordable dishes and must-eat items, based primarily on viewer feedback from Facebook and Twitter.

The half-hour weekend program airs in major markets, including on WPIX New York, KTLA-TV  Los Angeles and WGN Chicago. America’s Best Bites is produced by Chicago-based Oak Brook Productions, creators of WGN’s Chicago’s Best, described by Tribune as “a food program with a sense of humor and audience participation.”

Ted Brunson adds America’s Best Bites to his current hosting duties on Chicago’s Best. Natalie Forte joins from Los Angeles, where she has hosted and reported features for LX-TV, ABC Family and Reelz Channel.
