Trifecta To Distribute Raycom’s ‘America Now’
Raycom Media and ITV Studios America are partnering with Trifecta Entertainment & Media as the new distributor of America Now, their daily newsmagazine show co-hosted by Leeza Gibbons and Bill Rancic. Trifecta will begin selling the show in 2013 and will also handle all national advertising sales.
Now in its third season, America Now airs weekdays in 45 markets, and is averaging a 1.3 household rating/3 share across the metered markets season to date – up 8% in ratings from a year ago, according to Raycom, which also reported the following ratings info:
- Birmingham, Ala., continues to lead all markets with a 4.4 HH rating average — up 26% from a year ago.
- Cincinnati (WXIX) posted a 67% increase from a year ago.
- Knoxville, Ky. (WTNZ) posted a 53% increase from a year ago.
- Richmond, Va. (WWBT) posted a 17% increase in HH ratings from a year ago.
