‘Trisha’ Clearances Now Top 85% Of U.S.

Stations committed to carrying the NBCU talker set for fall include KCOP Los Angeles and WCIU Chicago.

Trisha, the upcoming NBC Universal talk show set to debut on Monday, Sept. 17, has increased its station clearances to 85% of U.S. TV homes, including in 47 of the top 50 markets. Top-market stations that have picked it up include Fox TV Stations’ MNT affiliate KCOP Los Angeles and Weigel independent WCIU Chicago.

Other station groups that have picked up the show include Sinclair, Hearst, Belo, CBS and LIN.

Trisha will be hosted by U.K. talk show host Trisha Goddard who began her career in Australia as a TV news anchor and has hosted two U.K. daytime talk shows.

Trisha is being produced at the Stamford Media Center in Connecticut by Paul Faulhaber, who also produces NBCU’s Maury.
