Twentieth TV Names Wussler VP, Ad Sales

Former NBCUniversal Television Distribution exec Rob Wussler will oversee sales and integration initiatives.

Rob Wussler on Tuesday was named vice president, sales and integrations of Twentieth Television, effective immediately. Based in New York, he will report to Joe Oulvey, executive vice president of ad sales, Twentieth Television.

Regarding the announcement, Oulvey said: “As we gear up for the 2012 syndication upfronts, we are thrilled to welcome Rob to Twentieth Television’s strong ad sales team. Rob’s integration experience, across national, local and digital platforms, will be an invaluable asset as we continue to develop unique advertising initiatives for our wide spectrum of first-run and off-network properties.”

Most recently, Wussler was vice president, eastern media sales of NBCUniversal Television Distribution, overseeing many of the major advertising agencies for the division. In addition, Wussler lead integrated media executions across NBCUniversal platforms including on-air broadcast, online digital, and product integration.

Prior to NBCUniversal, Wussler held syndication sales positions within Paramount Domestic Television, including VP, western regional manager.

Following graduation, with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Wussler held regional sales positions with Blair Television and Genesis Entertainment.
