United Teleports Names Efromson New CTO

United Teleports Inc., a provider of satellite and telecommunications services for the broadcast industry in the US and Latin America, on Monday named Jack Efromson to its senior management team as chief technology officer.

Efromson has more than 30 years of experience in broadcast, cable and satellite television, most recently as CTO for AMC Networks International Latin America.

His career includes managing television engineering, operations and IT for MTV Networks International, Nickelodeon International, Chellomedia, and MGM Networks Latin America.

United Teleports said Efromson will play a key role in its development and expansion of television content aggregation, preparation and distribution services.
