Univision Makes Three Executive Moves

Univision announced three promotions on Thursday.

Kevin Conroy has been promoted to the newly created position of president, Univision Interactive Media (UIM) and Enterprise Development.  In this position, he will continue to be responsible for Univision’s interactive platforms and the development of interactive products and services.  He will also be responsible for overseeing the Univision Enterprise Development organization. Most recently he served as the company’s president of UIM.

Bert Gomez has been promoted to senior vice president of government relations.  Since launching Univision’s Washington office nearly four years ago, he has managed relations in the capital while working hand in hand with Univision’s legal team to monitor key regulatory issues. Gomez also launched and continues to manage Univision’s PAC. Most recently he served as the company’s VP, government relations.

Monica Talan has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate communications and public relations.  In this position, Talan will oversee corporate and internal communications, programming public relations, corporate events and social media. Since joining Univision in 2008, she has played an instrumental role in the creation of the Univision corporate communications department. Most recently she was the company’s VP, corporate communications.
