Univision Unveils State-Of-The-Art San Jose Studio

Univision Bay Area, part of Univision Communications, today announced a new state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, Calif., part of the San Francisco DMA (6).

The new location houses the studios for Univision Bay Area’s Noticias Univision 14 nightly news and “Despierta Área de la Bahía” morning show.

Univision Bay Area, the proud voice for Hispanics living in the San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose region, has been serving the community for over 40 years. The relocation to San Jose marks a new chapter allowing the media company to continue offering news, entertainment and community events through its local television stations KDTV and KFSF, as well as its radio stations.

“Our new, state-of-the-art facility will give us the latest technology and resources so that we can continue to be the voice of our community,” said VP-GM Raul Rodriguez. “Our audience deserves the best and Univision Bay Area is committed to delivering an outstanding newscast every day at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. with the stories and information that help them thrive.”

A community celebration and official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in January 2017.
