WAFB Names Ronna Corrente VP-GM
Raycom Media today appointed Ronna Corrente vice president and general manager of its CBS affiliate WAFB Baton Rouge, La. (DMA 94).
Corrente fills the role left vacant by Lee Meredith, who recently retired. She comes to Raycom Media from Lexington, Ky., where she has been general manager of WDKY.
Corrente studied at the University of Kentucky. She began her career as an account executive and worked her way up the sales ranks, including local sales manager, general sales manager and general manager.
“Ronna has a proven leadership record and a management style that is inspiring,” said Sandy Breland, Raycom Media senior group vice president. “She is very team and community-focused, which makes her a great fit with WAFB.”
