WAOW Adds Aldridge As 6 & 10 P.M. Anchor

Phil Aldridge has been named the new 6 and 10 p.m. anchor at Quincy Media’s ABC affiliate WAOW Wausau, Wis. (DMA 134).

He will begin his new duties at WAOW on Monday, Jan. 8. He will anchor alongside co-anchor Melissa Langbehn at 6 p.m. and Rebecca Ribley at 10.

Aldridge comes to WAOW from KMGH Denver where he is sports anchor. Previously, he worked as a primary sports anchor at KSTP Minneapolis and sports anchor at WGCL Atlanta.

In addition to sports reporting, he’s covered multiple Super Bowls, College Bowls, Stanley Cup Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, a World Series, PGA events, Daytona 500’s, NFL, collegiate and high school teams.
