Warner Bros. Slots Test Of ‘TMZ Live’ On KTTV
Warner Bros. is building on the success of newsmagazine TMZ with a companion show, TMZ Live, that Fox TV Stations’ KTTV Los Angeles will test as a Monday to Friday strip starting March 12. Telepictures is producing the show.
TMZ Live is based on a Web series of the same name that has been streaming on ustream.tv. TMZ Live will air on KTTV for several weeks, although Fox TV Stations do not have a specific period of time set for the test or for additional markets.
TMZ with host and creator Harvey Levin has a 2.0 household rating for the season through Feb. 19, slightly up from a 1.9 household rating for the same time last year.
