WBAL Expands Local Sales Management Team

Hearst-owned NBC affiliate  WBAL Baltimore (DMA 26) has increased its local sales management team.

Tom Dotson moves to a new position as a local sales manager from his current role as local account executive at the station, effective January 2016.

In addition, Connie Ernst-Brown will be joining the station in January as a local sales manager, coming to WBAL from Hearst Television’s WDSU New Orleans.

Ernst-Brown first joined Hearst via NBC affiliate WDSU in 2011 as local sales manager. Prior to Hearst, she worked at both Quincy Jones Broadcasting and Tribune Broadcasting in various sales roles.

Dotson began his broadcast sales career as an account executive at Sinclair Broadcasting in Baltimore. A stint with Scripps Broadcasting eventually led to a position with WJLA Washington where he rose to local sales manager.
