WBRC Birmingham Ups Maze To News Dir.
Raycom Media-owned Fox affiliate WBRC Birmingham, Ala. (DMA 45), has promoted Assistant News Director Shannon Maze to news director effective Jan. 1. Maze follows the former news director, James Finch, who has taken on new responsibilities at Raycom as a regional news director.
Maze joined WBRC in March 2011 as assistant news director.
She previously worked in Yuma, Ariz., as news director at KSWT. Prior to Yuma, she worked both on and off camera in various positions at KTVK Phoenix; WSPA Greenville, S.C.; and WTVW and WFIE both in Evansville, Ind.
