WCAU Names Jim Rosenfield Weeknight Anchor

NBC-owned WCAU Philadelphia is adding Jim Rosenfield as anchor of its 4, 6 and 11 p.m. weeknight newscasts starting Sept. 9. Rosenfield comes to Philadelphia from NBC-owned WRC Washington where he has been a weekend anchor and reporter.

Rosenfield will share the evening anchor desk with NBC10 veterans Renee Chenault-Fattah and Vai Sikahema, as well as Jacqueline London, who joined WCAU in March.

Before WRC, Rosenfield was in New York, where he was an evening anchor/reporter for WNBC and later WCBS.

A 30-year veteran of broadcast journalism, Rosenfield got his start in 1981 as reporter for WTVD Raleigh-Durham, N.C., where he eventually became weekend anchor. He later moved on to anchor positions at KTRK Houston and WLS Chicago.

Rosenfield holds a B.A. in English from Duke University, where he also served as a 2011 Alumni Fellow in the university’s Office of Public Affairs & Government Relations.
