WCCO-TV is adding a new face to its anchor desk. The station has hired Edward Moody to fill the role of news reporter/weekend anchor. He will team up with Liz Collin to deliver the Saturday evening newscasts, while Collin and Jason DeRusha will continue to be the Sunday evening anchor team.

Moody, who most recently worked at the Fox-affiliate in Indianapolis, will make his Twin Cities debut on Friday, Aug. 24, during WCCO’s special Minnesota State Fair show at 4 p.m. The Kansas City, Mo., native has also worked in Rochester, N.Y., and was a morning anchor in Duluth.
