WCTI Greenville Adds 5:30 P.M. Newscast

Bonten Media’s ABC affiliate WCTI Greenville-New Bern-Washington, N.C. (DMA 101), will introduce a 5:30 p.m. newscast on Aug. 15 featuring the anchor team of Brian North and Jaime McCutcheon. With this newest addition, WCTIand sister stations WFXI-WYDO will now offer more than 30 hours of local news per week.

“We are excited about bringing the Greenville, New Bern and Jacksonville market this 5:30pm newscast,” says Lyle Schulze, VP-GM. “Local news is the signature of Bonten Media Group and WCTI-WFXI-WYDO. Last year we were proud to launch the market’s first local totally HD platform. This year we are thrilled to provide our viewers and advertisers with even more local news and content at 5:30 p.m.”
