WDIV Detroit Gives Local Show An Overhaul
WDIV Detroit, Graham Media’s NBC affiliate in the country’s 12th largest market has giving its mid-morning lifestyle Live in the D an overhaul, complete with new hosts and a new format.
The revamped show with co-hosts Chuck Gaidica and Tati Amare will debut Sept. 28 at 10 a.m., an hour earlier than its previous slot. The new format is faster paced than the previous, while providing more advertising opportunities, the station says.
“The show is a relentlessly positive look at Detroit and really all of southeast Michigan,” Gaidica, a local personality who most recently did weathercasting, says in a statement.
Amare, currently based in New York, has produced local lifestyle, food and travel shows.
“Live in the D is a go to resource to find out what’s going on around town and highlights the amazing people that are making these things happen,” she says.
