DMA 50: NEW ORLEANS
WDSU Adds Shaun Kraisman As 4 P.M. Anchor
Today, Hearst’s WDSU New Orleans (DMA 50) announced that anchor/reporter Shaun Kraisman will be joining the station’s news team, and anchoring the 4 p.m. newscast weekdays.
He joins WDSU from WINK Fort Myers-Naples, Fla., as a morning and noon anchor. He studied broadcasting at the College of Charleston, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
Kraisman began his TV career at WCSC Charleston, S.C., as a production assistant, audio director, photographer, news reporter and fill-in traffic anchor.
He then worked at WDTN Dayton, Ohio for several years as an evening anchor and host of Living Dayton, an hour-long lifestyle show.
Kraisman’s first day on-air will be Oct. 24.
