WeatherNation Add Affiliates In Arkansas

Multicast channel WeatherNation TV today boosted its affiliate roster, adding KMYA-DT Little Rock, Ark. (DMA 56), and KFDF-CA/KFFS-CA Fort Smith, Ark. (DMA 101).

“Arkansas saw its fair share of extreme weather in 2011 with extensive flooding on the Mississippi River, deadly tornadoes in Vilonia, and severe flooding on the Black River at Pocohontas,” said Larry Morton, President-GM of KMYA. “The decision to offer WeatherNation was an easy one for us to keep viewers informed of not only potentially life threatening local conditions, but also some of the best coverage of what’s impacting the rest of the United States and other areas.”
