WeatherNation TV Launches on Xbox 360

WeatherNation TV announced today the launch of what it’s calling the first app “dedicated to 100% weather news on the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft.”

WeatherNation TV’s live streaming app provides 24/7 service for national, regional and local weather news at no additional charge to Xbox Live members on Xbox 360.

The WeatherNation app on Xbox 360 also allows users to:

• Watch a live stream of what’s currently on air 24 hours a day from WeatherNation TV.

• Watch on-demand video segments of hyper local weather news from broadcast affiliates selected by ZIP code.

• Get current and “Feels Like” temperatures, wind speeds, humidity levels, air pressure, dew point and extended forecasts per location. Also view breaking news, hourly forecasts, snow totals, wind speeds and more about a given location.

• Receive local Severe Weather Alerts including detailed information on warnings, watches and advisories.

• Check WeatherNation’s travel forecast before going on a trip.

• Get detailed interactive radar, satellite and local weather maps.
