WEEK Adds Tyler Lopez As Evening Co-Anchor
Granite Broadcasting-owned NBC affiliate WEEK Peoria, Ill. (DMA 117), has named Tyler Lopez co-anchor for its 6 and 10 p.m. weeknight newscasts Aug. 3. Lopez will team up with current anchor Libby Allison.
Lopez joins WEEK from KMGH Denver, where for the last 10 years he has been a fill-in anchor and reporter for the station’s daily morning newscast. Prior to that, Lopez was anchor at KOAA Colorado Springs and reporter/anchor at KDVR Denver.
In all, Tyler has more than 20 years’ experience anchoring, reporting and producing local TV news.
