New owner Bayou City Broadcasting brings in long-time Evansville journalist to return news to the CBS-Fox affiliate in Indiana.

WEVV Names Warren Korff News Director
Bayou City Broadcasting’s CBS-Fox affiliate WEVV Evansville, Ind. (DMA 103, has hired Warren Korff as news director.
Korff joins the WEVV from WEHT-WTVW Evansville. He has 30 years of experience covering news in the market. He has previously worked at WIKY-FM, WBKR-FM and WGBF-AM/WKDQ-FM.
DuJuan McCoy, president-CEO of Bayou City Broadcasting, purchased WEVV on Jan. 1, and decided to bring local news back to the station. “We are very fortunate to find a person like Warren,” said McCoy. “His experience, local community relationships and passion for news made him the ideal candidate for us.”
Korff said: “WEVV’s return to local news is good, not only for me and the people we hire, but also for the community. It is good to see Bayou City Broadcasting committed to serving the people of the Tri-State, and to giving viewers another voice for news coverage.”
Korff is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana.
