WFLA Tampa Expands Midday News
Media General-owned NBC affiliate WFLA Tampa, Fla. (DMA 11), will be expanding its local news coverage with a new one-hour midday newscast, News Channel 8 at 11 a.m., beginning on June 13.
Stacie Schaible and Gene Ramirez will co-anchor along with Meteorologist Leigh Spann.
Stacie Schaible is co-anchor of News Channel 8 First at Four with Josh Benson and News Channel 8 at 6 pm with Keith Cate.
Gene Ramirez is co-anchor of News Channel 8 Today weekday mornings from 4 to 7 a.m. with Gayle Guyardo. Leigh Spann is the meteorologist of News Channel 8 Today.
