WFLD Ups Corey McPherrin To Evening Anchor
Fox-owned WFLD Chicago (DMA 3) today promoted Corey McPherrin to anchor of the 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts alongside Dawn Hasbrouck.
Scott Schneider will move from weekends to replace McPherrin as anchor on Good Day Chicago.
Prior to his stint on Good Day Chicago, McPherrin had anchored the station’s noon newscast. Before that, he was sports anchor for WFLD and WBBM in Chicago and WABC in New York.
