WFWA Turns To Mediaproxy For Logging, Monitoring

Public broadcaster WFWA Fort Wayne, Ind. (DMA 110) has chosen Mediaproxy’s LogServer compliance logging and monitoring solution for its four channels — its main PBS feed, PBS 39 Kids, Create TV and 39 Explore.

LogServer is Mediaproxy’s server based software solution for capturing and recording live television content for real-time monitoring and logging for post-broadcast compliance reviews. WFWA uses LogServer to manage compliance logging and broadcast monitoring of all of its channels over terrestrial, cable and its mobile app.

“As a public television station, we are committed to delivering a high-quality service while complying with vital broadcast regulations such as loudness and closed captions,” said Matt Kyle, WFWA engineering manager. “We chose to include LogServer within our broadcast facilities since it offers a comprehensive set of advanced compliance and monitoring tools that we can utilize across all of our channels.”

“We are very pleased that PBS39 has chosen to deploy LogServer as we know how dedicated they are to providing quality television broadcasting,” said Harry Glass, Mediaproxy SVP operations US. “We look forward to continuing to support PBS39’s commitment to its viewers.”
