WGHP Ups Kevin Daniels To News Director
Tribune Fox affiliate WGHP Greensboro-High Point, N.C. (DMA 46), today announced that Kevin Daniels has been elevated to news director. Daniels, who was previously the station’s assistant news director, will report to Jim Himes, president-GM.
Daniels succeeds Karen Koutsky who left in December 2014.
Daniels has been a part of the WGHP newsroom for more than 15 years, serving in various leadership positions. He has been instrumental in the launch of multiple newscasts, as well as overseeing the daily news operations at the station, including myFOX8.com.
