WHBQ Taps Ron DeJoseph As Creative Services Dir.

Cox Media Group-owned Fox affiliate WHBQ Memphis (DMA 50) today named Ron DeJoseph creative services director.

“Ron has had a distinguished, 15-year career at Cox Media Group, during which time he has been developing his creative and leadership skills and doing great work for CMG Charlotte’s WSOC- TV,” said CMG Memphis VP-GM Paul Briggs. “While in Charlotte, Ron spearheaded the migration and integration of cinema cameras and gear, transforming creative services into a one-stop shop to shoot and produce high-end, impactful image campaigns. We are thrilled to have him join our team.”

DeJoseph began his career at ESPN Regional TV in Charlotte as an editor. He then joined WSOC as an editor, was promoted to executive producer and then became promotions manager.

“I’m thrilled about the opportunity to advance my career within CMG,” added DeJoseph. “I’ve learned so much during my tenure at WSOC and I look forward to contributing to the growth of one of our newest properties.”
