WISH Indianapolis Lands Chicago Blackhawks

Media General’s CW affiliate WISH Indianapolis (DMA 27) on Monday announced a new broadcast partnership with WGN Sports that includes the live broadcast of 19 hockey games during the 2015-16 season, beginning Oct. 10.

“We’re proud to bring the winning tradition of Blackhawks hockey to WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV [co-owned MNT affiliate WNDY],” said GM Les Vann.  “The team has won the Stanley Cup three of the last six years and sold out every home game for the last seven seasons. Central Indiana viewers now have a front row seat to hottest team in professional hockey.”

Fresh off a 2015 Stanley Cup win, the Blackhawks also won championships in 2010 and 2013.
