WJBK Ups Charlie Langton To Weekend Anchor

Charlie Langton has been promoted to weekend morning anchor for Fox-owned WJBK Detroit (DMA 12). Langton will continue to co-host the public affairs show Let It Rip that airs Thursday nights and Sunday mornings, as well as report and provide legal analysis on various weekday newscasts.

Langton has served as a legal analyst for the WJBK news team since 2007. He had previously worked at WYUR-AM Detroit as a political-legal talk show host, and at WXYT-AM.

A practicing lawyer, Langton had his start in broadcasting as host for the Macomb County Bar Association’s cable television program.  

A Michigan native, Langton is a graduate of both Kalamazoo College and the Detroit College of Law. He is also a graduate of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
