WLNE Adds Karen Meyers To Anchor Desk
Veteran news anchor and journalist Karen Meyers is joining Global Broadcasting’s ABC affiliate WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53), at the anchor desk for the station’s 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
A graduate of Boston College and winner of an Edward R. Murrow Award, Meyer’s experience includes time as an anchor/reporter at WTTG Washington; WXXA Albany, N.Y.; WNNE Burlington, Vt.-Plattsburgh, N.Y.; WPTZ Burlington, Vt.-Plattsburgh, N.Y.; and most recently as an anchor for New England Cable News.
