WLS Taps Sewee to Distribute Holiday Special

ABC O&O WLS Chicago has selected Tim Voit’s Sewee Entertainment to handle syndication and distribution for their fourth quarter holiday special The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival.

This annual one-hour event will be filmed live in HD on Saturday, Nov. 19, and available for air from Nov. 22 through Dec. 25.

Key affiliates already cleared for 2011 include WABC New York; KABC Los Angeles; WLS Chicago; WPVI Philadelphia; WXYZ Detroit; WSB Atlanta; KTRK Houston; WEWS Cleveland; KMGH Denver; KNXV Phoenix; WSOC Charlotte, N.C.; WFTV Orlando, Fla.; WJRT Flint, Mich.; and KFSN Fresno, Calif.

Sewee Entertainment also distributes Andrew Young Presents (quarterly) and WCVB Boston’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. tribute Raising the Roof.
