WMAQ Names Brandin Stewart VP Of Sales

The NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations group executive moves from KNSD San Diego to take on this new position.

NBC-owned WMAQ Chicago (DMA 3) today appointed Brandin Stewart vice president of sales effective immediately. He reports to David Doebler, president and general manager of the station.

Stewart brings more than 15 years of experience to his new roles, having worked in sales positions of increasing responsibility within the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations group over the last 12 years.

Most recently, Stewart was VP of sales for KNSD San Diego for the last two years. Prior to his role at KNSD, Stewart was the director of business development sales at KXAS Dallas-Fort Worth.

He also held sales roles at NBCUniversal’s National Sales Office and began his local broadcast career as a sales associate with the NBC Sales Associates Program.

Stewart holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Kentucky’s College of Business.
