The Baltimore ABC affiliate promotes Sal Iacia, its assistant chief engineer, to replace the retired Paul Wilkinson.

WMAR Names New Engineering Director
Scripps-owned ABC affiliate WMAR Baltimore (DMA 26) has promoted Sal Iacia, its assistant chief engineer, to director of engineering.
Iacia will take over for Paul Wilkinson, who just retired from WMAR last week after a 10-year tenure. Iacia had previously acted as interim director during Wilkinson’s absence.
“Sal has proved countless times that he is ready to lead our engineering team,” said Bill Hooper, WMAR VP-GM. “I feel very confident that Sal will continue to improve our resources and processes to support all departments.”
Iacia has been with WMAR since early 2013.
