WMOR Ups Scott Morrison To Local Sales Mgr.

Hearst Television-owned independent WMOR Tampa, Fla. (DMA 13), today promoted Scott Morrison to local sales manager from national sales manager.

Morrison joined WMOR as national sales manager in 2011, playing a role in the launches and subsequent growth of the station’s multicast channels, thisTV Tampa Bay and EstrellaTV. 

Prior to joining Hearst Television, Morrison was sales manager, retail and entertainment for NBC affiliate WFLA Tampa.

 Morrison’s previous positions include: sports brand manager, Media General in Tampa; senior corporate marketing manager, Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey and Tampa Bay Storm Football; and manager, media and marketing partnerships, National Basketball Association in New York.

He has a BA degree in political science from Rutgers University.
