WNEP Ups Carl Abraham To News Director
Carl Abraham has been named News Director of Local TV’s ABC affiliate WNEP Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Pa. (DMA 54).
Abraham began his career at WNEP in October 1983 as an assignment editor. He moved up the ranks in the newsroom as a show producer, assignment manager, assistant news director and acting news director.
According to WNEP President-GM Chuck Morgan, Abraham was a natural choice. “Carl’s knowledge of our market and our strengths, coupled with his work ethic and passion for news, make him the very best person to lead Newswatch16 into the future.”
