WNJU Names Endy Rodriguez VP Of News
Telemundo-owned WNJU New York (DMA 1) has appointed Endy Rodriguez vice president of news, effective immediately. He will lead all day-to-day operations within the newsroom while continuing to increase the station’s growth and engagement on its digital properties.
He will also further expand WNJU’s newsroom collaboration with sister station WNBC New York on joint investigative and consumer news stories.
A 15-year veteran of WNJU, Rodriguez began as a news department intern in 2001. He gradually moved up the ranks, serving as an assignment editor, field producer, executive producer and most recently, as assistant news director. Rodriguez is a life-long resident of Queens. He earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
