WNYW Beats ABC, NBC A.M. Shows In March

Good Day New York, the morning show on Fox-owned WNYW New York, outrated both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America among adults 25-54 and 18-49 during March (Feb. 27-March 26).

According to ratings provided by Fox, Good Day New York averaged a 1.425 rating (120,000 adults 25-54) versus GMA’s 1.421 rating (119,700 adults 25-54) and Today’s 1.275 rating (107,300).

Among adults 18-49, Good Day New York averaged a 1.214 rating while Today had a 0.910 and GMA posted a 0.879.

Versus March 2013, Good Day New York is showing growth, up 4% in rating among adults 25-54. Compared to two years ago, Good Day New York is up a 28% (1.425 rating this March versus March 2012’s 1.110 rating).

According to Fox, this is the first time that Good Day New York finished a sweep as No.1 among adults 25-54 (since the launch of the LPMs in June 2004). It also marks the first time that Good Day New York beat Good Morning America (since the launch of the LPMs in June 2004).
