WNYW Names Antwan Lewis Weekend Co-Anchor

Fox-owned WNYW New York (DMA 1) today named Antwan Lewis co-anchor of its Fox 5 News at 6 p.m. and Fox 5 News at 10 p.m. weekend newscasts. Effective Saturday, May 18, Lewis will co-anchor the programs alongside Christina Park.

Lewis joined WNYW in 2010 as a general assignment reporter. Most recently, he served as fill-in anchor for Good Day Wakeup, the station’s weekday newscast from 4:30 to 7 a.m.

Before that, he served for three years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WGN-TV Chicago. Earlier, he spent four years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KTVK Phoenix. Before that, Lewis held a variety of positions at WTKR  Norfolk, Va., where he began as an intern.

A graduate of Norfolk State University, Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in mass communications and journalism, as well as a Master of Arts in broadcast journalism from Regent University.
