Woman Pulls Gun On WESH Orlando Reporter

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A 911 dispatcher is charged with aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a gun at a TV reporter.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that 28-year-old Shauna Justice was arrested after Tuesday’s confrontation with WESH reporter Claire Metz.

Volusia County sheriff’s officials say Metz knocked on Justice’s door to discuss Justice’s recent three-day suspension. Justice was allegedly talking on her personal cellphone last September as her trainee sent firefighters to the wrong address of a man having a heart attack. It took firefighters 15 minutes to find the house and he died.

Officials say Justice answered the door pointing the gun at Metz. Justice told deputies she felt harassed and threatened. Justice was released on $1,500 bail and officials say she has been suspended. Justice doesn’t have a listed phone number.
